We know from experience that having a basic understanding of what AI is and knowing how to use AI confidently and effectively is a must in today’s world. In addition, companies are looking for people who understand how to use AI as a tool, and this certification is a great way to demonstrate that to potential employers or clients. We’ll be using Writing.io for this course, but we will also cover other services and models in the next Module.

As we move through this course and you start utilizing AI on your own, think of yourself as a project manager: A project manager is someone who leads a team and ensures that a project gets done on time and within budget. While project managers don’t need to be absolute experts in all aspects of the project, they need to be able to guide and support their team members, which is what you can do with various AI aspects. 

You can also think of having a symbiotic relationship with AI--meaning you can learn from AI and it will learn from you. You’re already engaging with technology in meaningful ways every single day, in work and personal life. Find ways that AI can benefit you--it can save you time, help you enjoy the aspects of your work you already love, or give you the opportunity to push yourself in ways you may not have been able to before. Keep an open mind, and learn strategies that will benefit you now and in the future.
